I found a replacement keyboard on Amazon and put it in myself.Failures in the first year are already covered by the one-year warranty.All AppleCare does it take care of years 2 and 3. Which means I got service for it into the fourth year of ownership, which AppleCare would never cover.Other parts of the MBP failed after the third year, like keys on the keyboard, AppleCare would not cover that either because it was after the third year.
